Manuel da Costa (1956, Porto Alegre, Brazil), professional photographer, lecturer, member of CIRCLE-24
Still-life and nature photography, built his own studio and darkroom on the borders of Lake Malvas, Brazil, where he studies and shoots creatures of the insect world and other aspects of Brazilian nature.
These works look simpler than they really are. Not only must the composition and colours be balanced, but in Manuel's works it is clear where his roots lie and exactly what story he wants to convey.
