Welcome to   'I Can See'
  an online course about seeing.

We do not always know what we see, whether in daily life or in art, media and culture. And what is more, we are not even sure what questions to ask?
This digital course changes that. It is teaching, which means you have to learn something and you have to do something for it. But you will see that it is worth the effort and that there is much to discover. The questions may seem a bit formal at first, but you will soon feel that this structure comes naturally. The 5 W's are the key: the Who, What, Why, When and 'What do I feel about it?'. More on this on the next page.
This structure will take time in the beginning and time in this case means attention: it is better to do one part of this course well than a little of everything. It is also not a competition.

On many pages there is a section of blue text, which is primarily - but certainly not exclusively - for teachers.

Good luck!

It is a new program. This means that improvements and changes will certainly be needed. Therefore your contribution is of utmost importance. You can find contact details here. I tried very hard to make the program multicultural, after all we are citizens of the world and should see that way.
